What stays on your device

  • Attempt records (guided-mode progress, recorded outcomes, your notes and device descriptions you type) are stored only in your browser's local storage on this device, under the key tl_attempts_v1. They are never sent to us or to any analytics.
  • Report forms (result reports, suggestions, error reports) prepare text on your device for download or copying. Submitting a form on this site sends nothing anywhere.
  • Clearing your browser data deletes attempt records. Export from My Attempts is the way to keep a copy.

What the server sees

Like any website, the hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) processes ordinary request data — such as the page requested and your IP address — to deliver pages and protect the service. We do not add advertising trackers, and private attempt records are never included in page requests.

What we never ask for

TriedLedger never asks for passwords, one-time codes, national ID numbers, or bank details — on any page, in any form. If anything claiming to be TriedLedger asks for those, it is not us.

Honest limits

Browser-local storage is convenient, not a vault: anyone with access to your unlocked browser can read records stored in it. We do not claim complete anonymity or protection we cannot prove. Questions: babarmayo1989@gmail.com.
